Hello everyone, Our Blahs party is set for Feb 19 @ 2PM at Nino’s in Waterbury. On Sunday we must use the dinner menu. Jodi said she could do seperate checks by table only, ~10 people per table. Please respond to me by Feb 10 so I can get a final count into Jodi. Also please remember that Family and friends are also invited just give me a total number going. I have enclosed the link to Nino’s that will let you see the Dinner menu and give you the address. If you have any questions please call me.

Thanks, Mikey

There will be a meeting of the Lamplighters chapter at the Fall Rally, to be held on Sunday morning at 9:00, just before the state meeting. I hope there will be enough in attendance for a quorum. At this point, there is one couple who has expressed an interest in being the new treasurer. Nobody has stepped up to become the president. After this meeting is over, our term as president is also over. My hope is that somebody will agree to hold this office, and if not, there will be no president. If you have anything that you would like included in the agenda, please let me know in advance. Hope to see many of you at Wolf’s Den and the Fall Rally.

There will be a meeting held at Fall Rally for all Lamplighters who attend.
So far, no one has stepped up to run for president or treasurer of the club. Our term as president will be up in October, and at the meeting we are finished. Please consider taking the office.
I will purchase something to give to the Cardinals to be used as a door prize. I am going to get a Walmart gift card, $25, that is what we gave last year.
To all committee members, please have your reports ready for the meeting.
Hope to see many of you in attendance at the Rally.

I am not sure if I included this in yesterday’s email, but anyway, the club needs to hold an election in October for President and Treasurer. It is not that Jack and I have not enjoyed our tenure, but it is time to replace us! If you are remotely interested in either one of these offices, please let me know ASAP. As usual, thanks for reading this.

We had a meeting on Sunday at Northeast Regional and this is some of the stuff that we discussed.

We know it is very early to be thinking about Christmas and the annual greeting for the winter state newsletter, but, if you want you name in the greeting, please make sure to have the $2 per family or couple money submitted by the October indoor meeting. Last year several people did not have their name listed under the Lamplighters banner, we do not want that to happen again this year. The fall rally hospitality was mentioned, I did email Barb Crombie from the Crackpots, they are hosting the rally this year, and Lamplighters is not responsible for one. She did indicate that the group will be shorthanded, so if you plan to attend the rally, please ask if there is anything that is needed, she and her chapter will appreciate the help. She said that Paul is on 2 different chemo treatments and she is not sure that they will even be able to attend. Please keep them in your prayers.

The Northeast Regional was well attended by Connecticut, we had 19 families there, the most of any state, and the noise parade was a true indication of Ct FCRV spirit. Maine FCRV made us all feel welcome, and we look forward to going to NJ next year in August. The only sad part about the weekend was the news of the sudden passing of our state treasurer, Cliff Yanke. He will be missed by both the state staff and his own chapter, the Happy Wanderers. Jack and I do plan to attend the calling hours and service on Thursday.

There are lots more camping opportunities available before the season is over, the Terryville Fair, Make-a-Wish, Fall Rally, different scheduled weekends, so we hope that you will be out and enjoying them.

Until next time, Linda

We had a good turnout at the Blah’s party yesterday and were able to get some decisions made about the Spring Rally. Also, we selected our candidate for the Outstanding FCRV member of the year. Congratulations to Bob Lamontagne, he will be officially nominated at the Spring meeting at Goshen.

Cristin will be sending out the refunds for the Wagonmasters fees.  When you get your check, please cash it ASAP, as we want to get the account closed at Webster Bank and open a new one where we will NOT be charged service charges.

Matt Weber has updated the website and a listing of the upcoming campouts has been posted.  If you are intested in any of them, contact the host and let them know.  Thank you, Matt, for all the work you did on this.

We will be having another meeting on April 10 at the Morris Town Hall, starting with potluck at 4:00 and a meeting to follow. We will finalize the plans for the Spring Rally and will make our schedule of events at that time.  Please plan on attending, as the more volunteers we have for the rally, the better.

-Linda
